Physiotherapy and occupational therapy are growing professions in Nepal. Rehabilitation services in Nepal are limited, but the government has recently adopted a 10-year action plan to address rehabilitation needs nationwide. There are challenges in providing equitable access and availability to services, particularly in underserved areas.

Due to the flourishing climbing industry in Nepal, a lot of rehabilitation and physiotherapy has developed around climbers. The tour visits an established centre that was originally set up for this purpose by Sir Edmund Hilary. You will also visit the Gurkhas United Training and Academic Centre and meet with their rehabilitation specialist.

Along the way, you will experience the rich culture, wonderful cuisine and spectacular landscapes of Nepal.
