Jon Baines Tours is a leading provider of specialised and unique study tours. Trusted and highly experienced, JBT has run fully escorted medical, professional and cultural tours and cruises around the world since 2007. The tours are led by handpicked tour leaders who are experts in their field.
Based in London and Melbourne, we curate small-group experiences that inspire and educate healthcare professionals and culturally curious travelers.With a family-owned ethos and a passionate team, we combine our love of travel with exceptional expertise. Our co-owners, Jon and Karen, lead the business from the Australian office and we have a small London team, within which this role will sit.
We are looking for a skilled, confident marketing professional to integrate into our close-knit team.
You will be a self-starter and a skilledSnr Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager with the ability to create, deliver and manage a strategic marketing plan for our tours and brand. You will support the Head of Marketing in delivering the marketing strategy and associated campaigns.This role is a minimum of 3-4 days per week or across a 5-day week if, for example, you are working school hours.

Are you able to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment?
An extra bonus if you are you familiar with the travel, education, or healthcare sectors.

As Snr Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager, you will take the lead on developing and executing marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with our business goals and promoting our portfolio of professional healthcare and cultural tours.

Campaign Development and Execution
Implementing marketing campaigns to promote around 40 tours annually, working closely with the Head of Marketing.
Coordinating advertising plans and sponsorships to support the tours roster.
Negotiating packages that best meet our budgets with titles that best serve the tribes we
are targeting.
Managing the production of print materials, including brochures, flyers, and advertisements.
Working collaboratively with sales and operations teams to align marketing strategies with client engagement goals.
Digital Marketing
Developing and executing digital campaigns across platforms, including SEO, PPC, and social media.
Managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), creating engaging content and fostering community growth.
Overseeing website updates and enhancements to ensure a seamless user experience.
Optimising email marketing campaigns, managing segmentation and performance tracking.
Analysing digital marketing metrics and use insights to refine strategies.
Content Creation and Brand Management
Supporting the content editor with storytelling efforts to highlight the unique value of our tours.
Writing content for email marketing and social media posts
Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing outputs.
Collaboration and Communication
Working with the Partnerships Manager to build relationships with professional organisations and associations and provide marketing collateral and content when deals are made.
Contributing to the organisation and delivery of online and offline events for prospective and existing clients.
Supporting PR initiatives and media outreach to increase brand visibility as directed by the Head of Marketing.
